David Byrne has released a song called "T Shirt", alongside a music video. Performed throughout his tour, the song has notable visuals featuring common slogans and phrases seen on shirts. It's an outtake from American Utopia (2018), made in collaboration with Brian Eno and Rodaidh McDonald.

Fred Armisen was a special surprise guest at David Byrne's Los Angeles concert on November 20! Just like Hayley Williams in New York City, Armisen subtly appeared on stage wearing a blue uniform and blending in with the band. He played percussion on the song "Slippery People", making this his third time playing percussion on stage with David Byrne.

There are already several 2026 festival dates announced featuring David Byrne, including further dates in the United States and Europe beyond the standalone concerts previously announced. A soundtrack album for The Twits is available on streaming services, with the first four songs written by David Byrne. This includes a track sung by himself and Hayley Williams, "Open the Door". For more details about the film, you can read this article.
